3S vacancy: Lecturer in Human Geography of the Environment

We are recruiting for a lecturer to join the 3S research group and contribute to our growing and vibrant research and teaching. 

The University of East Anglia invites applications for a Lectureship in the Human Geography of the Environment in the School of Environmental Sciences.  The successful candidate will have a developing international research record in human geography and be capable of complementing the successful 3S (Science, Society and Sustainability) research grouping http://3sresearch.org. The further particulars outline areas of research focus particularly attractive to the School.

The post holder will contribute to teaching a first year module on ‘Human Geographies of a Changing World’ and help deliver human geography facing content on core second and third year modules of the BA and BSc Geography programmes.

You must have a PhD in Geography or a closely allied and appropriate subject (e.g. Environmental Sciences, Science and Technology Studies) and fulfil all essential elements of the person specification.

This post is available from 1 April 2016, on a full-time indefinite basis.

We particularly welcome applications from suitably qualified female academics as they are currently under-represented in senior positions within the School.
